put water . like half way full then put some herbs that u wanna put in. then put the lid on, make sure u have to put this small circle thing on top of the lid. and cooked ur roast in medium. it cooks for 30-45 min. depends on what size of roast are u cooking. then when its done. done open the lid. wait for half an hour. before u open it. cuz if u open it immidiately, ur gonna burn urself cuz of the hot steam that is trapped inside it..
