Can you can any recipe you have in a pressure cooker, or do you need specific recipes for it?

I have some recipes for sauce and salsa, etc. that I would love to can. But the recipes are not specifically for canning. I would also love to can a few of my own inventions. Is this risky to do…even in a pressure cooker? What are the rules?

Sometimes your recipes are adaptable to canning. Try this site, it is my favorite. They also sell a book that has lots of great canning ideas. Sometimes you can find it at the hardware store where they sell jars in more rural areas.
