How long do I cook a 3.40 pound bottom round roast for in a pressure cooker?

I just bought a pressure cooker and know that I will cook at 15 psi as I am at 5000 feet. The recipes I have seen all vary greatly. I am thinking about 17 minutes…5 minutes per pound

  1. Dave C says:

General rule of thumb… increase cooking time by 5% for every 1000 ft in elevation…. multiply the sea level cooking time by 1.25
