“Without a place to vent, the passion of our people for liberty threatens to explode.”
Since the declaration of a state of emergency by President Musharraf, the gov’t has tightened its control on media outlets, ousted many judges, and placed members of the opposition under arrest.

Actually, it was Musharraf himself that had made promises in the past to step down as head of the military while in civilian office. Yet he has obviously failed to do so. What makes anyone believe he will completely follow through on this next promise?

No, I think not. There are just a lot of hard times now.
I think they will crush enough people so there won’t be an explosion – at least not for a while. And they will justify the crack downs as part of their efforts on the war on terror. It still sells! lol
Hopefully Musharraf has had enough of playing politics with the northern territories, an admittedly wild and lawless place still totally run by tribal elders and a haven for terrorists ruining back and forth to Afghanistan.
Also having a bit of trouble lately with all those peace loving Muslims. You know the same old peaceful tactics like ambushing legitimate government patrols blowing up vehicles in crowds and preaching hate for the infidels.
These types especially dislike me since I will not be converted and have no intention of letting anyone in slave me so that only leaves them one option for dealing with me.
I wish President Musharraf all the luck in the world.
PS have you noticed the double standard of GW calling for him to step down from overall command of the armed forces.
Although ALL of Pakistan’s rulers since its independance were “Brown English” by their thinking ,
But this Musharraf have caused the most damage to soverignity of Pakistan ,
USA is engaged in a proxy war to safeguard the Israeli intrests and Musharraf is engaged in a proxy war to assist USA ,
So he opted for him a role of “Slaves of the Slaves”,
2 provinces (Balochistan & NWFP) are at war with Musharraf lead Pakistani Government , and if it prolonged (as seems to be) then really Pakistan will Explode ,
But this will not be the end of the game , Even , actual war will be started then ,
Since 911 USA is in war in “shellow waters” But once Pakistanies are forced to come in front , and Iran is also attacked , then USA will be in really Hot ,
One thing USA (and all Christian world) can never understand , that ,
“Muslims are never affraid of Death , they feel the Death as an integral part of Life , Muslims are affraid of only a “caward’s Death” for them , But as “Bravely resisting the agressor” a Muslim not only welcomes but wishes for death ,
So I foresee absolutely “no chance of loosing” all these defenceless Muslims ,
If wars could be won merely by “fire power” than Afghanistan & Iraq wars were by no means “HALF MEASURES” for USA till today ,
These on going wars are
“fire power” vs “Wisdom power” ,
And these wars are serving no purpose other than “awakening Muslims from 1000 years of sleep”,
But away from the going on wars , which are even expanding ,
We must have a close eye on , how US citizens are concerned to the on going scnerio ,
Would they endlessly allow USA to receive “Body Bags” to serve the Jews ??
Please also keep in mind , that , if USA remains reluctant to attack IRAN , then USA will surly face a more deadlier attack on US soil than 911 , And (Jew Dominant) Media will fingre towards Iran & Pakistan ,
Who will do that ? Us citizens should know their real enemy ,
