i know you can cook it in a regular pot, and also a crock pot, but why in a pressure cooker. Thanks!
thanks, but i actually meant the actual chili with the tomatoes, meat, beans (already cooked) spices, etc.

Using a pressure cooker is a method of cooking beans without soaking them first. Pressure cookers will cook unsoaked beans relatively quickly. So, it would make sense to use a pressure cooker if someone were making chili without using canned beans or pre-soaked beans.
Edit: In that case, there wouldn’t be any point in using a pressure cooker to make chili. Unless, its used to decrease the amount of time that the chili is simmered. Some people like to slow cook their chili until it gets nice, thick and tasty. A pressure cooker can do this in less time.
Just like for any other recipe: it takes less time to cook. I think it’s divided by 3? It depends on the dish, though.
Many regions use beef CUBES rather than ground beef in their chili. Using a pressure cooker makes the beef much more tender than stove-top cooking.
It makes no sense at all…. chili must be simmered on the stove, can also be slow cooked in a crock pot but NOT in a pressure cooker I threw my pressure cooker out many years ago really had no use for it If I have tougher cuts of meat can put them in a crockpot or simmer a little longer in my heavy dutch oven and it taste better I sometimes make my chili with cubed chuck roast and it comes out tender and delicious aslo cubed pork steaks make a great chili
Speed
15 minutes as opposed to simmering for several hours?
Pressure cooking is super fast cooking. (where “fast food” at home comes from?)
I only use the pressure cooker for things that would otherwise take hours of simmering or would be tough.
Its typically cooked in a pressure cooker to make sure the beans are cooked if there already cooked you can just leave your chili on the stove on low make sure to stir every so often though.
