I do have a 6l Fissler pressure cooker — but they are expensive. The advantage is — I have bought mine in the mids of the 70ties and still get parts today.
But look at this ones.

Take stainless steel!

ps: have a look at ebay.
Before rushing out to buy the first pressure cooker you see, do a little research first. Modern pressure cookers have come a long way from the old-tyle models typically found at a discount store where low-end, low-cost products predominate.
With their noisy, rattling, hissing and spitting ‘jiggle’ top weights, those old-tyle versions have been replaced by today’s new pressure cookers. Totally reliable with their multiple built in safety systems, there’s no more guesswork with modern pressure cookery.
Made of durable stainless steel for a lifetime of dependable service, the new models are very easy to use and allow users to cook a wider variety of foods and recipes than ever before. The heavy, 3-ply base has eliminated the risk of scorching foods. The new, silent, spring loaded valves means very little water is needed so pressurization is super fast. That means more of the vital nutrients in your food are preserved.
Shop smart. Like any other high quality pieces of cookware, you aren’t likely to find modern pressure cookers at volume discount stores. Even up scale brick and mortar stores can’t offer the selection that you will find by browsing on-line discounters like Amazon.com. A modern pressure cooker with all the fancy, new ‘bells and whistles’ is priced at about $75 on-line, plus you’ll get no tax and no shipping to sweeten the deal.
Take a little time to read about the new pressure cookers that are now available. You’ll find that the benefits, the new improved features, and the safety differences, make the sleek, quiet,’goof proof’ models are the best choice if you want the ‘most bang for your buck’.
There are many choices to choose from. Get the product that fits your cooking needs. Fissler provides a pressure pan set that is quite versatile and a great size for daily use. And there are sizes that are quite large for canning. If we can be of any help or answer questions, contact us.
